Decent value, slight delay

We organized a Hybrid Team Building event for our company, and overall, it went well. The content for the activities was creative and helped bridge the gap between our in-person and remote staff, which was key for us. The booking process was straightforward, though it took a little longer than I expected to get a final confirmation after our initial inquiry. The host was excellent, keeping everyone engaged. Good value for what we paid, but better communication on confirmation times would be appreciated.

Detailed review of our Online Game Show experience

Our department recently used The Go Game for an Online Game Show, specifically for a team morale boost. The initial contact with sales was smooth, and they helped us tailor the game to our group size and preferences. We had about 30 people, split into smaller teams. They provided clear instructions beforehand on how to set up and join the virtual room, which was helpful. On the day, our host was energetic and kept the pace lively; they really knew how to manage the different teams and keep the banter flowing. We had a couple of minor technical glitches with one participant's audio, but the host handled it quickly and professionally. The game itself was well-designed, quite challenging but fair, and sparked a lot of collaboration. It felt like a fresh take on team building, not just another boring meeting. The follow-up after the event was good too, they sent a summary of scores and photos. I'd definitely recommend them for anyone looking for engaging virtual team activities.

Virtual Escape Room was amazing!

We booked a Virtual Escape Room for our team's end-of-quarter celebration, and it was absolutely fantastic! Everyone had such a blast, and the host was super engaging. It was so much fun seeing everyone work together to solve the puzzles. We're definitely booking another event soon!

Hey, thinking about booking a virtual escape room for my team. Does anyone know if there are any current deals floating around, like a first-time customer discount?

S Susan Lewis 4 weeks ago
I think they mostly do custom quotes, so public coupon codes aren't really a thing. You might get something if you chat with their sales people, but don't expect a 'WELCOME10' code or anything.

Yeah, pretty sure they don't do those standard coupon codes. When we booked, it was more about getting a volume discount because we had a big group. Non-profits sometimes get a break too, but not really a first-timer thing as far as I know.

Is The Go Game actually good for remote teams across different time zones? We've got folks in Europe and the US, and past events have been a nightmare.

D Daniel Miller 1 month ago
They actually handle time zones pretty well! We have a global team, and they ran an event for us that worked for both CET and EST without anyone having to get up at 3 AM. They'll help you figure out the best time.

Yeah, they can totally do international. They just work with you to find a time that's not awful for everyone. No downloads needed for the virtual stuff either, which is a plus.

How does The Go Game compare to like, Outback Team Building or Confetti? Are they basically the same thing or is there something that makes Go Game stand out?

J Jennifer Adams 2 weeks ago
Go Game feels more 'game-show' esque and high energy, especially their hosts. Outback is good too, but sometimes feels a little more structured/less spontaneous. Confetti has a ton of options but sometimes it's almost too much choice.

I've used Outback and Go Game. Go Game's app-based scavenger hunts are way better, much smoother experience. Their virtual events also felt more polished and engaging than some of the stuff I've seen from competitors.

Planning a holiday party in December for about 75 people. How far in advance do I really need to book an in-person event, especially with it being peak season?

K Kyle Torres 1 month ago
December is crazy busy for them. I'd say at least a few months out if you want to lock in your date and a good host. We tried booking in October for a November event and it was tough getting their top-tier options.

For December? Dude, yesterday. Seriously though, like 3-4 months minimum. They get slammed for the holidays.
